As an Italian culinary critic with a passion for sustainable practices, I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming agriturismo for Christmas. the check-in process was smooth, even for late arrivals, with private shaded parking available. the clean and cozy rooms, complete with outdoor seating, offered a perfect retreat. the highlight was the delightful animals on the property - a majestic horse, a friendly goat, and a lovable dog. The location surrounded by fruit and olive trees created a tranquil atmosphere, ideal for exploring nearby beaches and historic sites like Saturnia and Pitigliano. the homemade breakfast, featuring Italian desserts, was a delightful surprise. the genuine hospitality of the hosts, their excellent English, and the option to enjoy a homemade dinner made the stay feel like a true Italian experience.
